1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Mezi VPN application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Mezi VPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through our secure servers. The Service is available in both free and premium tiers:
- Free Tier: Access to select server locations with standard features
- Premium Tier: Access to all server locations, faster speeds, and additional features such as streaming-optimized and gaming-optimized servers
3. App Usage and Device IDs
Mezi VPN does not require traditional account registration. Your access is tied to an anonymous, device-specific identifier. You are responsible for any activity associated with your device's use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for devices that are associated with violations of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Mezi VPN only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Engage in any illegal activity under applicable local, national, or international law
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other computer systems or networks
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or network
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or third parties
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's terms of service and billing practices.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy. We do not directly process refunds.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price increase.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Emergency maintenance or security updates
- Factors beyond our control (internet outages, natural disasters, etc.)
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
7. Intellectual Property
The Mezi VPN application, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the intellectual property of Mezi VPN and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mezi VPN and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The Service will provide complete anonymity or protection in all circumstances
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mezi VPN, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the app. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
